How we use your information

The informaion you provide will be used solely to be of service to you and make our business dealings with you successful.

We may ask for information such as your name and company name, physical address and country, destination port, phone number, fax number, mobile number and email address to:

• prepare invoice and shipping documents,
• facilitate shipping vehicles,
• send documents to you via courier.

We may also use this information when:

• further information is required from you,
• a new vehicle is added to our site that suits your requirements or
• if we want to share any news or information with you that we consider important and potentially helpful to you.

Third Parties

In the course of conducting our business with you, it may become necessary to provide documentation with relevant detail to concerned parties. Usually this is the invoice that contains some information about you. Without this, the shipping process cannot take place.

The parties involved can include the shipping agent, port authorities, custom authorities, or Jevic /JAAI inspection offices if required.

Once the shipment is done, your information is used to send documents to you via courier or post. Some of your information is also shared with the bank, auditors, tax office, etc. in the normal course of financial record keeping.

We do not share or sell information to unconcerned third parties.

Legal

However, in the unlikely event that we receive a request from law enforcement agencies to provide your information, we may be legally obliged to give it to them.
