Why should we trust Japan Auto Exports?
Japan Auto Exports Co., Ltd is a legitimate company, registered in 2003. Our company is a used car dealers' license holder, registered with our Prefectural Police We are a member of Nagoya Chambers of Commerce, member of JETRO (Japan External Trade Organization), member of JUMVEA (Japan Used Motor Vehicle Exporters Association), and a member of multiple used car auctions. We deal in the export of Brand New and Used Vehicles of all makes and models available in Japan. Feel free to contact us for any other information you may may what to know more about our company.
Do you deal in New vehicles or Used cars?
Japan Auto Exports deals in both brand new and used vehicles of all makes and models available in Japan.
Do you also supply half cuts?
Yes we can supply nose-cuts, half cuts, and also vehicles on CKD (Complete-Knock-Down) basis.
Where do your vehicles come from?
We source all our used vehicles from the used car auctions. Auctions sell cars with mileage guarantees and each car is checked and graded for quality.
Do you allow third party checks on your vehicles?
Most certainly. If you are in Japan, you can call us for an appointment. One of our staff will accompany you to the port where all our vehicles are stocked. If you are in overseas, you can appoint someone to visit us on your behalf and inspect the vehicle and related documents. This facility is available during weekdays between 9 am to 4 pm. We encourage our clients to examine the vehicle either in person or through third parties to make a wise buying decision and we will do our best to accomodate any such request from our valuable clients.
What is the quality of your stock?
We do not buy accident vehicles. Even if they are nicely repaired, we avoid buying and keeping such stock. We also do not buy flood or water damaged vehicles. You will never find stolen vehicles in our stock list. All vehicles come from genuine sources, with proper documents and clean titles. All vehicles are thoroughly examined by our staff. We do not rely on Auction Inspection Sheets alone. We examine vehicle in detail to make sure there is no damage, rust, engine or mechanical problems. You can rely on our vehicles to have a neat and tidy interior and exterior. Since these may be used vehicles, a minor dent or scratch may be present, but we do not hide such information from our clients. We will send you larger and closer images if there is any such damage so that there are no surprises when you receive the vehicle. You will always get what we promise you.
Is your Stock real or these are just example pictures of the cars you deal in?
Every single vehicle that you see on our website is real stock. Japan Auto Exports owns these vehicles. We have the custody of these vehicles and we have the complete documents of these vehicles in our possession. All these vehicles are available for third party inspection and all our stock is ready for shipment.
Are your prices fixed or negotiable?
We do not add huge profit margins to our vehicles. Our motto is to supply quality cars at reasonable prices. However, there is always some room for negotiation within reasonable limits, if there are special circumstances. Feel free to contact us for price adjustment. We will do our utmost to offer you best possible prices.
What is an FOB price?
FOB means Freight-on-Board. FOB price means that it includes vehicle's cost plus all costs incurred in Japan but it does not include the shipping freight (ocean freight) to your destination.
What is a C&F price and CIF price and what is the difference between the two?
C&F means Cost and Freight. CIF means Cost, Insurance and Freight. C&F price is the FOB price plus freight to your destination. CIF price means C&F price plus insurance to your port.
How can I check the freight cost to my destination?
Email us your country name, port name and vehicle that you would like to import. We will check the freight cost and send all details via email.
Is insurance included in your price?
Insurance is not included in our price. At your request, we can insure your vehicle during transit. We advise buying insurance for your vehicle(s). It does not cost much. The price ranges from 40 US$ and up, depending on the value of vehicle. With a small payment, you can protect your vehicle during the transit.
If I decide to buy a vehicle, what is the mode of payment?
Payment can be made through telegraphic transfers also known as wire transfers through your bank.
Do you accept payment by credit cards / bank cheques?
Unfortunately, we cannot accept payment via credit cards or bank cheques.
Do you accept Letter of Credit?
If you are buying brand new car(s) from us, we will accept payment through Letter of Credit if it is drawn through a reliable bank. L/C must be Irrevocable at Sight. For used cars, we can consider payment through L/C if you are paying an exceptionally large amount. For small payment upto thousands or tens of thousands of dollars, we do not accept this mode of payment.
I am from Bangladesh / Srilanka and my government does not allow me to make international remittance for used cars except through Letter of Credit. Will you accept letter of credit for such cases?
We do not encourage payment though Letter of Credit because it requires a lot of paper work and time. However, for clients from Bangladesh and Srilanda, where clients have no option but to make payment via L/C, we will make an exception. Feel free to discuss the payment options if you come from one of these two countries.
How soon you can ship the vehicle?
We will start the shipping process the day we receive your payment. At Japan Auto Exports, we pride ourselves in doing quick shipments once payment is confirmed.
What shipping company do you use?
We are open to do business with any or all shipping companies. You can chose the shipping company you are comfortable with and we will accomodate your demand. If you leave it up to us, we will chose the first ship sailing after payment is made to ensure the quick delivery of the vehicle.
What is your mode of shipment?
Vehicles can be exported in Containers of 20 ft or 40 ft, or they can be sent by Roll-on-Roll-off ships that are specially designed to carry cars. We have our own container yard and trained staff to do professional packing in containers. Depending on the size of vehicles and containers, we can ship one vehicle to four vehicles per container. To certain destinations, cars can be sent via containers only. To others, ro-ro is the only option. Both container shipments and Ro-Ro shipments are possible to a number of countries. Feel free to contact us for the best shipping options to your destination in terms of time and costs involved. We will share all information we have, so you can make the best decision.
How long will it take before I receive my vehicle(s)?
Transit time or sailing time differs from country to country. If you email us your country and nearest port, we will check the next ship sailing, transit time and approximate arrival time at your port.
How do you send the documents after shipment?
Once the shipment is done, all documents are sent to you via courier. Once the ship leaves, we will send you the documents within two working days.It takes three to four days to get to you, depending on where you are in the world.
How do I clear my vehicle once it arrives?
Please contact your local shipping agent, who will instruct you on procedures.
What are your company working hours and how can I contact you if I have a question or a problem?
Our normal business hours are from Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm. But you can contact us seven days a week. After business hours, during public holidays and weekends, our office landline is automatically transferred to a staff member's mobile phone.There will always be someone to attend to your call. If you find our phone line busy, please try again after few minutes. Also you can contact us via Online Chat on this website. Alternatively you can email us and we will get back to you as soon as we can. You can check Japan Time on our website so you dont call us in the middle of the night! Of course, if it is urgent, you can call us anytime.
