We freely deal with all shipping companies. It gives us maximum shipping options. So we can chose the best delivery for you in terms of quick shipment and low cost. However, if you want to use a particular shipping company, we can always accomodate your request.

Japan Auto Exports prepares all scheduling, documentation and arranges booking. And we keep you informed about shipping times. You can count on it that shipment from us will arrive when we say it will.

Your choice of Container or Ro-Ro (Roll-on, Roll-off)

Vehicles from Japan are shipped either in containers of 20 ft or 40 ft size. or in special Roll-on Roll-off ships fitted out for cars to be driven on board.

Ro-Ro:

is often cheapest
vehicles are simply driven on and off again-no packing required
cars are securely parked and lashed tight under the deck

Container:

gives you the option to load more than one vehicle
allows you to utilize the rest of the space for anything like spare parts, half cuts, nose cuts, front cuts, engines etc.

If you want spare parts, container is your best option as most of the shipping companies wont allow spare parts with Ro-Ro shipping.

We can ship you car either way, as you prefer. Japan Auto Exports will give you advice on the most cost effective and fastest options.

For some destinations, only container or ro-ro is available. We'll let you know if this is the case for your country.

We load vehicles in containers ourselves.

Our trained and highly professional staff loads cars into containers themselves. This saves you money and streamlines the process, as we do not need a third party involved.

Japan Auto Exports does all the packing, crating, blocking, bracing, securing, panelling and platforming to load a container efficiently. For added security we use 9 mm wire instead of common 6 mm wire and use double bolts as stoppers to save cars from damage during transit.

Depending on size of the vehicles, we can load anything from two to four vehicles in a container.

If you buy motor cars from other dealers in Japan who lack the container packing facility, we can even do the packing of those vehicles in our container yard at a very reasonable price.
